Kanza has over 19 years in the retirement benefits sector and has developed an in-depth understanding of pension management, administration, investment, and legislation, alongside valuable member insights. As the General Manager of Business Development and Client Relations at ICEA Lion Asset Management Limited, she blends strategic planning with practical, results-driven leadership, contributing to meaningful financial security for trustees, members, and individual investors.

Throughout her career, she has partnered extensively with employers, trustees, and members of 150+ retirement schemes, covering diverse structures such as Defined Contribution (DC), Defined Benefit (DB), Hybrid, Umbrella schemes, Income Drawdown and Personal Pension Plans. Her track record of leadership includes successful contributions to industry advancements, such as formulating the current curriculum for TDPK Kenya and co-developing the Retirement Benefits (Good Governance Practices) Guidelines, 2018.

She has been involved in high-profile industry events, including the Zamara Annual Retirement Conferences and the ILAM Annual Investment Conference, bringing insights and new ideas to the field.
